ABOUT BORDALLO PINHEIRO

Bordallo Pinheiro was established in the 19th century by Portuguese designer, Rafael Bordallo Pinheiro. It is now one of the most famous ceramic brands in Europe with a wide collection of nature-inspired tableware by combining art with functionality. The hand-painted earthenware plates, bowls and dishes are sure to impress with their quirky and fun designs.

Raphael set up his studio in 1884, and in only twenty-one years, Bordallo Pinheiro’s bold, artistic ceramics gained international recognition – to this day, many pieces are still made to his designs.
