Preferred by expert chefs, carbon steel woks are celebrated for their ability to bring enhanced flavour and durable enough to withstand high heat cooking without damage.

  • Traditional Chinese carbon-steel seasoning Wok with a natural, effective non-stick surface called patina which will develop through use
  • The flat base ensures the wok is well-balanced so doesn't topple over when sat on the stove. It is also suitable for cooking on all hob types including gas, electric, ceramic and induction
  • The beautifully crafted wooden handle is secured via two rivets to ensure you always have a sturdy handle that won't come loose. Finished with a hanging loop for easy storage
  • To clean, hand wash with hot water and mild detergent if desired. Thoroughly dry with a clean cloth
  • Suitable cooking capacity for 3-4 people

Cleaning Care Season first: Use a steel scrubbing pad and dish soap to remove the coating that comes with unseasoned woks. Rinse with hot water. Dry the wok thoroughly to prevent rusting by placing it over low heat for 1 to 2 minutes until no water droplets are visible. Place wok on stove burner and set on high. Your wok is ready to begin seasoning when flicking water droplets into the wok evaporates within 1 to 2 seconds. Remove the wok from the heat. Once it has cooled for a few minutes, add 2 tablespoons of oil. Swirl oil to coat the bottom and all the sides. Repeat this step again and rinse with hot water (no dish soap). Set on low heat for 1 to 2 minutes until no water droplets are visible. Hand wash only, dry thoroughly and wipe with oil to ''seal'' surface.

Delivery Fees

All orders under $99 will incur a standard delivery fee of $9.95 (except for products that require Large & Heavy delivery fee and Minimax Marketplace/Online Exclusive products). We reserve the right to charge additional shipping fees for large and commercial orders. In particular, orders over 20kg and orders that are subject to cubing. You will be contacted for an extra postage quote. Large & Heavy delivery fee is $30 dollars. Products that require a Large & Heavy delivery fee are flagged.

Delivery Times

Your order will be delivered in 3-10 working days from dispatch, depending on your location. Please note we only ship orders to Australian residential or business postal addresses. Minimax is not liable for any loss, damage or injury you or any third party suffers as a result of delivery. We will not be liable for late delivery by Australia Post. Late delivery does not entitle you to cancel the purchase. Minimax's obligations in relation to delivery end when order is collected by Australia Post for delivery to your nominated delivery point.

Dispatch Timeframe

Most orders are processed the next business day and dispatched with 72 hours. Currently our delivery time is 4-5 Business Days. Orders placed after 12pm Friday and over the weekend won't be processed until Monday.

Incorrect Product Arrives or is Damaged

If for some reason your product(s) arrived damaged, email us on returns@minimax.com.au Please make sure you contact us within 7 days of accepting delivery. We will respond with 72hrs.

Australia Post eParcel

Australia Post eParcel is a door-to-door service. We can deliver to residential addresses, business addresses and PO boxes. When shipping to a business address please ensure that you specify the business name. All orders must be signed for on delivery. If you are not present when delivery takes place a postal card will be left, and the parcel can be collected from the nearest post office at a later time.

Changed from a non stick to carbon steel and did the seasoning as instructed. Great result and now I can cook at a higher temperature with non-stick results and not having to worry about possible side effects from my old wok.
