Care
- Heat your pan while empty for approximately two and half minutes, then turn down the heat by about 30% before adding fats, oils or food.
- When using a gas stove top adjust the gas flame so that it does not extend up the sides of the pan. Never leave empty pan on a hot burner for longer than 5 minutes or allow pan to boil dry.
- Do not use pans over a campfire or in a microwave oven.
- When deep frying never fill the pan m ore than two-thirds full with oil as it may bubble up when food is added and could spill over.
- Diamond Active Lite - pots are ovenproof up to 250°C, lids are not ovenproof.
- Diamond Live - pans, glass lids and fixed handles are ovenproof up to 250°C, detachable handles are not ovenproof.
- Eco Lite - pans, glass lids and fixed handles are ovenproof up to 200°C.
- The patented hard-base coating makes the frying surface extremely resistant to cutting and abrasion. If small scratch marks should appear on the surface, the product can still be used without any concerns - and without affecting its cooking and frying properties or your health.
- Use silicone, nylon or wood tools instead of metal will further extend the life of your pan.
- Wash thoroughly with hot soapy water to remove any residue that may be left from the manufacturing process.
- Dishwasher proof but to extend the life of non=stick handwashing is preferred.
